The game is due out Fall 2017 for iOS and Android mobile devices, AppleTV, AmazonFireTV, and Steam for PC.
  • Infinite Overdrive: A fast paced, combat racer filled with robotic hordes, boss fights and insane upgradable weapons.
  • Evil Magic Finger: Evil Magic Finger is an online card game that fuses elements of the classic game, “War”, with strategy, memory, chance and (evil) magic!
  • Ice Road Truckers: A free, infinite runner based on the History Channel’s TV show.[7]

Kuma Reality Gameisodes[edit]

Kuma Reality Games produced free episodic PC game titles until 2013. While Kuma ceased production of the titles below, the games are still available for free download. Most of the games are built on Valve's Source engine.

  • KumaWar The second version of KumaWar Classics is a first and third person shooter, taking information from military operations. Kuma Games is known as UE9 (Unidad Especial 9) in Latin America. In 2011, KUMA released the last two episodes ofKUMAWar: The Death of Osama bin Laden.[8] and The Fall of Sirte: Gaddafi’s Last Stand[9]
  • I, Predator: I, Predator is a survival game based on Discovery's TV channel Animal Planet. The game has three playable episodes.[10]
  • Dogfights: Dogfights is a game that was produced in conjunction with The History Channel program of the same name. The games for this title are based on the show's Season 2 World War II episodes.[11]
  • WWIIVietnam: WWIIVietnam is a game that was produced in conjunction with The History Channel program ShootOut!. The episodic games for this title are based on the actual ShootOut! episodes that air on The History Channel. Some of the battles recreated include Iwo Jima, The Tet Offensive, The Battle of the Bulge, and an episode on the Vietcong attacking of the US Embassy in Vietnam.
  • The DinoHunters: The story of the Dinohunters is centered around a fictitious reality show on the Total Hunting Channel. The producers send a crew of washed up celebrities into the past to hunt dinosaurs for sport and big ratings. The crew consists of Australian stuntman and actor Roger Wallaby, country singer Harlan Davis, Brooklyn native Shaw Jefferson, and their sexpot producer Candace 'Candy' Spencer.
  • Mobsters: Mobsters is a free episodicfirst person shooter based on The Biography Channel's program Mobsters. Each game episode mirrors events from each episode of the series; where police try to negotiate the safe release of hostages in a bank robbery gone awry.[5] The game was formerly based on Spike TV's program The Kill Point.
  • WWII Experience: WWII Experience is a game based on actual World War II missions. The missions cover land, sea, and air.
  • National Blood Sport: A football-style shooter taking place in Nazi-occupied America.
  • Street Soccer: Street Soccer is a third-person soccer game with melee combat & a wall-walking ability.
  • Kuma War Classics: This game takes information and strategic data from recent military operations and attempts to recreate the war scenario as it happened. The missions for Kuma War Classics are missions 1-74. The missions after that are Kuma War missions. This game has come under much praise and criticism for the role it plays in reproducing recent battles. Kuma War now has an option to play in first-person, rather than the default third-person.[12]

History[edit]

In July 2006, KumaWar 2 was released, featuring improved graphics (based on the Source engine) and an expanded online multiplayer environment. The first mission re-creates the killing of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

Game missions[edit]

First released in 2004, KumaWar now features over 120 missions, known as 'episodes'. While many episodes are drawn from the Iraq, Kuma has also re-created events from the Afghanistan, Iran, South Korea (a 1996 raid by North Korean commandos), Vietnam (John Kerry's Silver Star mission), Sierra Leone (Operation Barras) and Mexico (a battle between Mexican soldiers and drug cartels).

The first mission of the game (named 'Uday and Qusay's Last Stand') is the battle in which the two sons of Saddam Hussein, Uday and Qusay, are killed. The attack is described as 'a turning point in Operation Iraqi Freedom' and 'a milestone in the War on Terror'.[2] Other significant episodes include 'John Kerry’s Silver Star', 'Fallujah: Operation al Fajr', and 'Osama 2001: Tora Bora.' The main distinguishing feature in KumaWar is its extensive background information for each mission, which includes satellite photos, original articles and a multimedia library.

Osama bin Laden and the end of KumaWar[edit]

In May 2011, Kuma Games released KumaWar 2's 107th mission: a recreation of the death of Osama bin Laden.[3]Later in October 2011, Kuma Games released the 108th, and as of 2013, final mission for Kuma/War 2, a recreation of the Fall of Sirte and the death of Muammar Gaddafi.[4]

Gameplay[edit]

The original KumaWar is a military third person shooter utilizing the N-Fusion game engine. A first person perspective was also available for players to choose. A variety of weapons are available and depending on the mission the player either played solo or participated in squad based play. The game had 74 episodes produced for it before the developer moved on to its sequel KumaWar 2.

KumaWar 2 is a militaryfirst person shooter that utilizes Valve's Source Engine. Both KumaWar 1 and KumaWar 2 features third and first person views. KumaWar 2 features similar gameplay themes to the original KumaWar such as single, multiplayer, and co-op maps. Thus far 125 episodes have been produced continuing the numbering from KumaWar 1.
